The path to the tents runs past the rock. Boho usually shows up within the first forty seconds. Unzip, kick shoes off, find the kettle. The lake is already visible from the bed.
Evenings move fast here. The sky does a full orange-to-navy routine in under twenty minutes. The string lights come on one at a time, because that's just how string lights are.
A short walk up to the kitchen. The menu is mostly whatever came in from the farm that morning. On Fridays there is music; on Tuesdays a mic; on Sundays, nothing but a record player.
Everyone who stays says the same thing. The sound of monsoon on a tent is doing most of the work. You'll sleep like you haven't in a while. We'll be honest about this.
From June to early October the waterfall is up. It is a ten-minute walk, wet shoes either way. Breakfast is bread, eggs from across the road, and coffee we take seriously.
Each tent is a heavy-canvas shell on a teak platform, twelve inches off the ground. Insulated roof, AC for summer, a proper en-suite in brick behind the tent. We sleep in these too. We've actually lived in them.
Rates are per tent, per night. Breakfast included. Minimum two nights on weekends; three on long weekends. We take 30% to hold the booking, rest on arrival.
